As we continue to bask in the doom of CO Exhibitions’ opening show, we’re already keeping our eyes open and focused on the next show, opening August 7th at CO.
Curated by artist extraordinaire and First Amendment alumnus Michael Gaughan, Smell The Glove is a group art exhibit featuring artistic renderings of what Spinal Tap’s Smell The Glove LP artwork never looked like. While the art was censored and released as a plain black square in the film, the original vision was graphically described, as you may recall, by Fran Drescher’s character.
We are still accepting a few last minute art submissions, so put the finishing touches on those paintings and sculptures and get them turned in! Don’t hesitate!
